Where is the Festival being held this year?
This year, the entire festival, including the Grand Parade and Markets will be held at the Jandowae Showgrounds, corner of Warra and Myall Streets, Jandowae.
What does entry cost?
Entry to the festival is $10 for adults, and free for under 16s. Every adult (18+)will be given a wristband on entry that allows access for the entire Saturday. Ticket holders are free to come and go throughout the day.
Any adult not wearing a wristband will not be served, and will be asked to return to the gate and purchase a ticket.
Where can I park?
Only disabled and parental/pram parking spaces will be available on Warra St at the entry of the showgrounds.
For all other attendees, street parking is available throughout town, and a free shuttle train will be running to ferry people from parking to the showgrounds.
Do I need to pre-book tickets?
We strongly suggest that you pre-purchase your tickets.
For those unable to pre-purchase tickets there will be ticket sales at the gate.
Will tickets be available at the gate?
There will be tickets available to purchase at the gate, however we strongly recommend that all attendees purchase a ticket online.
Will I need to check into the festival?
Not at this stage, however this is subject to change, given the changing nature of QLD Government mandates.
Where can I stay during the Festival?
There is limited accommodation left in Jandowae, however there are several accommodation options available in surrounding areas. Click here for more information.
I can't come to the Festival anymore, get a refund?
Sorry, Festival Day tickets will not be refunded for those who have changed their mind, or who aren't able to attend to the Festival.
Tour ticket refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be given in some cases but are not guaranteed.
In the unlikely event that we cancel the festival for any reason, you will be given a full refund.
Can we bring our dog to the Festival?
As much as we all love our pets, we are concerned some the activities and crowd sizes might frighten or distress our little fury friends. And kindly ask that all pets be left at home. If you would like to discuss this with the committee, please reach out. jandowaetimbertown@outlook.com
