Businesses bare all for Timbertown Calendar…

Local Jandowae businesses have bared all for a very cheeky 2022 Jandowae Timbertown Festival Calendar.

Inspired by the James Cook University Vets Uncovered calendar, the Timbertown Festival committee teamed up with some of our local businesses to create our very own ‘almost naked’ calendar.

Photographed by Amelia Wood Photography, 13 local businesses are represented in the calendar. Calendars will be available to purchase soon, with all proceeds going towards the 2022 Jandowae Timbertown Festival.

Featured in the Calendar are:

Nelson Family Meats
Ben Hinman Horse Breaking
Jambili Belgian Blues & South Devons
Jindalee Farming Company
Anthony Bowman Builder
Tuck’s Diesel Mechanics
Gersekowski Kitchens & Farming
Elders Jandowae
Wassell House Removals
Little Heli Services
Jandowae Fishhooks Senior Rugby League
Michael Wood Electrical
Exchange Hotel Jandowae

Calendars will be on sale for $25 and will be available to purchase at the Jandowae Fishhooks Yabby Races at the Exchange Hotel on Saturday!

Add a little laughter to your 2022 with a Jandowae Timbertown Calendar. With a limited number on offer, you won’t want to miss out!

Timbertown Returns in 2022

The Jandowae Timbertown Festival is on again in 2022!

The festival will be held from Friday 10- Sunday 12 June 2022 and will feature crowd favourites like the grand parade, sawmill tours, timber displays, market stalls & live music, as well as some exciting new additions to the program.

Keep an eye on the website and our Facebook page for more information.

We can’t wait to see you at the 2022 Jandowae Timbertown Festival!

Jandowae has a Timbertown Tree!

The Jandowae Timbertown Tree now stands proudly in the park in the centre of town, celebrating both the Timbertown Festival, and Jandowae’s proud timber milling history.

The tree is made from corten steel and fitted with lights so it is visibile in the main street during the day and night.

Next time you’re heading through town, make sure to stop & take a photo with the Timbertown Tree. Post it on your socials using the hashtag #timbertowntree and tag us, @JandowaeTimbertown on Facebook and @jandowaetimbertownfestival on Instagram so we can find and share. While you’re here, make sure you visit some of our fantastic local businesses. We’d love to see you in town!

The Timbertown Tree was designed by the Festival committee and funded with the help of the Western Downs Regional Council’s Festival’s Placemaking Initiative.

The tree was officially lit up for the first time by Cr Kaye Maguire at a community event in October, and we’re pretty pleased with how it turned out!
